The Journey of Madhuting

The fascinating process of giving the world aromatic, full-bodied teas began way back in 1938. A sister concern of the renowned Dhunseri Tea & Industries Ltd., Madhuting has carved a niche for itself as the preferred manufacturer of high-quality Assam teas. Over the years, we have consolidated our operations and been successful in increasing the production targets and thereby contributing to the domestic demands for tea in India. With the recent acquisition of Hatimara Tea Estate, we intend to explore the global market, and once again make the renowned and popular brands of our Hatimara Tea Estate available to the world.

Fine Teas

We strive to pluck fine throughout the year, to ensure that good quality black teas are delivered each time to our consumers.

Organic Farming Method

To enhance soil fertility and improve tea yields, we use vermicompost, which is extremely effective and eco-friendly as well.

Attention to Hygiene

Stringent hygiene protocols are followed, including frequently steaming our factory equipment to ensure there is no bacteria formation and the tea retains its quality, freshness and flavour.

Conscientious Functioning

As a good corporate citizen, we strive to provide equal opportunity to all sections of our employees in a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring socio-economic development and enhanced quality of life.

TEA TASTING

The art of tea tasting reveals the true nature of tea. It helps analyse and evaluate the tea’s appearance, aroma, flavour and mouthfeel, which sets the benchmark for the quality and value of different tea varieties.

Tea tasting is essential to ensure consistency in the quality and taste of the tea, batch after batch. It also helps producers develop new blends as per the current trends in consumer preferences. In case there are inconsistencies in the teas, tea professionals can identify and rectify them, before it reaches consumers.

Tea tasting has benefits beyond the commercial realm. Once the quality and characteristics of tea have been evaluated, consumers can make informed decisions about which tea to purchase, how to prepare it and how to appreciate the nuances and complexities of different tea varieties.

On the whole, tea tasting is important as it helps ensure the quality and consistency of teas, promote consumer awareness about the details of tea and its appreciation.
